Job Description:
Aether Intelligence Inc. seeks an experienced Legal Counsel with a specialization in technology law to join our team. This role will provide legal guidance on a variety of matters related to technology, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and data privacy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the legal aspects of technology within a fast-paced business environment and will be instrumental in navigating the complex legal landscape to protect our company and support our growth.Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on legal issues related to software development, licensing, and technology deployment.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and service agreements.
- Ensure compliance with international and domestic laws and regulations relating to cybersecurity, data privacy, and intellectual property.
- Provide legal support for corporate governance, compliance initiatives, and risk management.
- Liaise with external counsel as needed on specific legal matters.
- Conduct legal research and provide training to the company on relevant legal issues.
- Participate in the development of company policies and procedures to address legal and regulatory changes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of legal experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in technology law.
- In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to technology, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and intellectual property.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and legal analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively advising senior management and other departments.
